Okur Sınai’s Vision for Women’s Employment and Local Development

At Okur Sınai, we believe that true growth is only possible through social development. Guided by this belief, we place people and our contribution to society at the heart of our business operations. We are proud that 95% of the seasonal jobs we create through our agricultural operations are held by women living in nearby villages. In this way, we support women’s participation in the workforce and their economic empowerment.

One of the most concrete examples of our social responsibility vision is our Çayder Women’s Cooperative project. Through this project, we aim to bring the natural and organic products created through the hard work of women producers in Çaykara and Dernekpazarı to consumers without compromising on quality. Our goal is to make Çayder one of Turkey’s top 10 most successful women’s cooperatives within five years and to establish the region as an “Organic Basin.” Because we know that as women are empowered, so is society.
