Going beyond traditional farming methods, we are putting the agriculture of the future into practice today. Regenerative Agriculture, which we at Agrokur have adopted, aims not only to grow crops but also to improve the soil and the ecosystem as a whole. The core principles of this approach include protecting soil health, reducing the use of chemical fertilizers, using water resources efficiently, and promoting biodiversity.
We have pioneered a first-of-its-kind initiative in Turkey by launching the Carbon Farming program. Through our collaboration with the International Center for Agricultural Research and Education (UTAEM), we aim to reduce atmospheric carbon by increasing carbon sequestration in our agricultural lands and to become a corporate farmer that earns carbon credits within a year. We support these processes with modern agricultural technologies such as AI-powered disease diagnosis and sensor-equipped fertilizer robots. This is a concrete expression of our responsibility toward the soil and the future.
